KIUSDAA-WC PROJECTS
EVANGELISM
Through the then Federation University & Colleges Adventist Students’ Association -Uganda (FUCASAU) now Uganda University & Colleges Adventist Students Association (UUCASA), KIUSDAA was able to launch several Seventh-day Adventist student associations in various institutions.
For example Kahaya Seventh-day Adventist associations, Kabale university seventh-day association and Bishop Stuart University Seventh-day Adventist association. Some members are currently holding fellowships at St. Agnes Secondary School, chemoquip laboratory school, crane vocational school.
KIUSDAA-WC conducts community outreaches Ruharo, Buramba among others -communities surrounding the institution. We conduct activities such as door to door ministry, construction of latrine, renovation of houses, distribution of literature, flour, soaps, salts, match boxes have been issued out Continue praying for these projects.
In 2011, KIUSDAA had its 1st evangelistic campaign which was held at campus for a full week where souls were added to the fold. In 2012, KIUSDAA-WC crossed borders and organized an evangelism in Nyamarambe –Kenya in which 98 people were baptized. During the crusade, there was a free medical camp where 130 people attended to and received different health services.
A delegate also participated in the Gospel flames satellite evangelism conducted by the Eastern and Central Africa Division at the former hall big building just at the gate currently hostel premises Several public evangelisms have been held since then in the neighboring institution – Chemequip, village like Kigoma and Kijumo. In collaboration with Amazing Facts Africa- Prophecies of Hope series a one-month public evangelistic campaign has been held at the campus every year since 2017 more than 150 souls have been won, mostly students who have joined those waiting for the second advent and those proclaiming the three angels’ message. HALLELUJAH!!
MEDICAL CAMPS

The association with most of its students taking courses in Health sciences are interested in medical evangelism. With sufficient funding, we hold at least one independent medical camp together with an evangelistic campaign in the districts within a country or other countries yearly. Nyamarambe Medical camp in Kenya in 2012 was the first, 2017 two medical camps were held in Kijumo-short distance from the school and Butaleja-Eastern Uganda respectively each lasting for a week. Several local people were helped and they laid grounds for future evangelisms in these places. Plan for this year medical Camp and Evangelism are being made.
YOUTH-CLUB AND MASTER-GUIDE TRAINING
In 2013, the KIUSDAA Youth Club was launched by Pastor Tweyeyo who was the SWUF secretary by then and it was through the effort of Munakenya Laban now with continuous enrollment of master guide students for training and service. Different youth programs (classes and modules) are held every Sunday mornings (1000hrs-1200hrs) in the campus by master-guides. One to two investitures are done in a year.
KIUSDAA youth club served as the main medical team in Uganda Union pathfinder camporee (Mitandi 2015), ECD pathfinder camporee (Katebo 2016), SWUF pathfinder camporee (Kisolo 2018) and some preceding camporees. The club and the association have been actively participating in different leaderships and activities of all the previous Global Youth Days in the district. At Ishaka-Halers Park, Kizinda-Kizinda Ground, Bushenyi-Water and Sewerage grounds, Ruharo-Ruharo SDA church, Buramba-KIU grounds, in 2020 it was conducted from KIUSDAA-WC chapel and some members were visited and assisted with, blankets, bed sheets, clothes, flour, soaps and salts
SOCIAL ACTIVITIES AND RELATIONS
The Social and Welfare department organizes several events and activities like nature(wild-life) tours in game parks and other places for social pleasure and leisure. KIUSDAA-WC has good relations with other associations within the campus and Adventist students in other institutions under the union of all Adventist students’ association in the country (UUCASA). Through this, the association delegate members participates in other public evangelisms and retreat in the country organized by the Uganda Union Public Campus Ministry department.
There is a once-a-year social visit between the Adventist students in the university’s main campus (Kampala) and us (the Western campus-Ishaka) where we fellowship together, share testimonies, interact socially through, have tours and games. We are supposed to visit Main Campus next when Corona lock down will end. We are Ready! Join us late November.
We also have occasional interactions with Chemequip School of Laboratory Science, Ishaka Adventist’s School of Allied Health Sciences, Mbarara University of Science & Technology, Mayanja Memorial Medical School on social grounds and evangelism. Every Last week of October we have Alumni Home-Coming where we once again experience the joy of union and share experiences. During the week – called a week of Spiritual emphasis, an alumnus minister and all KIUSDAA members come together daily for evening devotions and nourishment. Miraculously invited friends have decided to follow Jesus during these sessions. The worship during the week is reforming and amazing. It climaxes with a “social-Sunday” The Next one is real soon. Join us do not Miss!!
THE CHURCH CONSTRUCTION

We at KIUSDAA-WC are Thankful and grateful that the school recognized our presence and granted us an opportunity to pray from a class or main hall only if there are no university activities warranting the use those places. As a result, we have suffered many inconveniences ranging from interruption of ongoing worship at times and even completely lacking a place of worship. The class was small for the growing membership and because of this we have always desired to build a permanent place for worshiping Our Creator GOD.
The association members started raising funds and by the year 2015 we were able to purchase a land near the university partitioned by university fence at Bwegyiragye hill measuring 100ft by 100ft at a tune of 23 million Uganda shillings. We were required to have an access road to the Church site which we later acquired at US$833.3/3 million Uganda shillings.
By God’s grace, an engineer offered us the building’s architectural plans freely. 1500 sand-cement blocks were laid and the ground was broken on . The construction of the basement began with the fund available though it wasn’t enough to finish it.
From then we thank GOD for touching well-wishers, student’s efforts of contributing in groups, buying T-shirts and having Music concert.
Currently the Alumni and finish finalist are giving in the support
The church is at the level of roofing, we have started using the gallery.
KIUSDAA-WC FUTURE PLANS:

- Roofing
- Bore hole
- Pastors house
- Purchasing a bus
In reviewing our past history, having traveled over every step of advance to our present standing, I can say, Praise God! As I see what God has wrought, I am filled with astonishment, and with confidence in Christ as leader.

We have nothing to fear for the future, except as we shall forget the way the Lord has led us, and His teaching in our past history
